For about six weeks, shops, malls and brands compete for the same attention, so a single discount banner will tire long before the festival ends. Plan a sequence of offers across the window, with a different reason to buy in each phase, and refresh creative on a schedule rather than after performance has already dipped.

Use the organiser's dates only. Travel blogs still list other dates, and the ones above come from the organiser's own release. In 2026 the festival starts a week after White Friday and the day after the National Day holiday of 2 and 3 December, which should be checked against any government notice. A 2020 statement from Dubai Economy, now part of the Department of Economy and Tourism, said businesses in Dubai need a permit before running sales or promotional campaigns. Current fees and lead times weren't confirmed, so ask the department what applies to your offer.
