People Also Ask
Definition
People Also Ask is a Google results-page feature that lists related questions in expandable boxes, each revealing a short answer taken from a web page, with a link to it. Opening one often adds further questions below it.
Its value to a marketer is as research. The questions show how searchers phrase the next step after their first query, in their own words, so copy the wording into headings and answer each question in the first sentence beneath it. The boxes differ by query, device, location and day, so record what you saw with the date instead of treating the list as fixed.
No markup is documented that places a page in the box, and FAQ markup is not the route. Since Google's August 2023 change, FAQ rich results are shown only for well-known, authoritative government and health websites, so FAQ schema on an ordinary business site won't produce the expandable result. Question-and-answer content is still useful to readers. The schema just isn't what earns the visibility.
Group questions by intent before writing. Several phrasings of one need belong on one page, while a question that deserves its own full answer, such as pricing or how long something takes, can justify its own page. Check the Arabic version of a question separately, since the related questions Google offers can differ by language.
